How to get there

Turn off the Tuggeranong Parkway to the Arboretum (Lady Denman Drive exit) and follow the entrance road up the hill to the parking area. (B6 on Yellow Pages Map 58 ) PLEASE NOTE THAT AFTER 8:00am ON SUNDAY 30/10/11 IT WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE TO ACCESS THE ARBORETUM FROM THE NORTHBOUND LANES OF THE TUGGERANONG PARKWAY BECAUSE OF A TRIATHLON. THOSE TRAVELLING FROM TUGGERANONG, WESTON CREEK AND OTHER SOUTH CANBERRA LOCATIONS WILL NEED TO COME VIA THE COTTER ROAD AND LADY DENMAN DRIVE.

 Course Description

All three courses start on the road near the parking area and follow the road East for about 200m before turning left. At about 500m another left turn leads to the perimeter track around the Arboretum. The Frylink and Waddell Series turn at 1.75K and return to the start (Course Length 3.0K). The Thomas course continues on the perimeter track with a right turn at about 3.2K. The long course then turns at 3.5K and returns to the start (Course Length 7.0K).
